Dig into the Prehistoric Past with Dinosaurs Alive

They’re baaack. That’s right, parents of petite paleontologists, dinosaurs will once again roam the grounds of the Calgary Zoo. Anyone with a T-Rex obsessed tyke in their house knows Alberta was once a stomping ground for several species of dinosaurs. You’ll be able to wander amid these great ones when the Zoo’s Prehistoric Park roars back to life March 18.

At Dinosaurs Alive, an animatronic dinosaur exhibit, families step back in time along three customized routes, each geared towards different ages. Could that be a triceratops grazing among the bushes? Sure is. And that’s definitely the growl of a T-Rex! Spot life-sized dinosaur models at every turn and learn new facts through both the interpretive centres and daily programming that will satisfy even the most die-hard dino fan.

There will also be new dino-sized photo opps and terrific hands-on dino digs. This spring, let them shake off the cabin fever with a dash through the past.
