Bye bye driving all the way down to Eureka, Montana to pick up your mail order. Pottery Barn Kids has just opened at Chinook Centre.

The specialty retailer of children’s home furnishings and decorative accessories offers a dazzling array of choices to kit out kid’s rooms oh so stylishly. You’ll find everything from bedding to die for to black-out drapes to custom upholstery options.

We’re crushing on the monogram service, allowing customization of bedding, towels and more. And baby showers are made much easier when setting up a gift registry here.

Our favourite part is the design services on everything from flooring to drapes and lighting. (Yes, you can put an area rug on top of carpet!) They’ll help create a floor plan and even go to your home to measure the space. Did we mention this service is free?

Make your way to the mall on Tuesdays at 11 am for in-store storytime, and get your PBK passport stamped to work your way up to discounts. Water fountains and family-size washrooms with change stations make it easy to spend lots of time in this paradise. Not that we needed any extra encouragement. Our credit cards are raring to go.
