Baby Shower Activity

Creative and sentimental, this activity is perfect for the crafty types.

You’ll Need:

  • White onesies, enough for one per guest
  • Washable fabric glue
  • Ribbons
  • Buttons
  • Scissors
  • Rulers/measure tapes
  • Scraps of fabric
  • Coloured threads and sewing needles
  • Scraps of paper (for tracing shapes and sketching)
  • Pens/pencils (for sketching designs)

How to Make:

  1. Set up a table with some pre-cut standard shapes (circles, squares and triangles are most useful) in a variety of colourful scraps of fabric.
  2. Have larger pieces of fabric available for those who want to create their own shapes and designs.
  3. Using fabric glue, paste the shapes to make designs or pictures onto the front of the onesie. (Some ideas for designs include: ice cream cones, rainbows, cupcakes, flowers, boats, sunshine.)
  4. Decorate with ribbons, buttons, etc. by stitching them on onsies with needles and thread.
