Zip It! Treetop Trekking and Ziplining in the GTA

Ziplining is all the rage these days. And with the exhilaration, scenic smorgasbord and novelty factor, we can see why. So get out and zip while you still can. Time is of the essence.

The trouble is most courses cater solely to the age 10 and up crowd. Which is why we’re delighted to find that Treetop Trekking’s original Barrie site has a course for kids as young as five—and that’s in addition to the six other courses for ‘big’ kids (ahem. Mom.)

The kid courses feature bridges, hammock nets, balance logs and other games up in the trees. It’s a great warm up to the zipline and more advanced courses that are suitable for ages 9 and up.

But if the tykes are really ready for the zipline—well, head over to the Elora Skyrider Zipline, where kiddos as young as three can take a turn.

What better way to close out summer—with a whoop and a whoosh.

You’ve got one more week. Make a memory with our 11 Summer Bucket List Items.
