It takes a whole team to bring SavvyMom to our readers and these are the savvy moms who make it happen.
Maggie Dymond knows a thing or two about selling media after an eight year stint at St. Joseph Media selling for Toronto Life. She also knows a thing or two about being a mom with two children clipping at her heels—Will (5) and Kate (3) who keep her busy and on her game. When she’s not running around after them, she might be found running around a field playing ultimate frisbee. She is a bit of a football fan in her spare time (is there such a thing) and loves to spend as much time in cottage country with her family as she can.
Robyn is a SavvyMom to Ally (3) and baby Luke. When she’s not busy going through blog posts, homepage rotators, creating Excel spreadsheets, and working on the editorial side of things at Savvy HQ, she can be found working on screenplays with her husband. Her eccentric background includes teaching imagination games to toddlers, coaching executives on presentation skills, performing in community theatre productions and writing biographies. And she drinks a lot of tea.
Leslie McCormick is a SavvyMom to 3 year-old twin girls, Madeline and Riley. When she’s not chasing toddlers around the house, she is busy coordinating sales initiatives at SavvyHQ. After spending several years working in children’s television she made the move to online working in the family media space and we’re pleased as punch to have her at the Sav. After hours, Leslie spends her time scouring the internet for bargains and watching too much TV.
Is a SavvyMom to Rebecca (14) and Noah (10). Besides her love for all things Apple, she is also rather attached to her Wii, her espresso machine and her TiVo. If not performing miraculous feats on the back-end of our content management system, she can usually be found behind the lens of her beloved Canon camera. Her brilliant shots can be seen on our monthly EatSavvy newsletter and web channel as well as her own website.
Is a SavvyMom to two boys, Cameron (10) and Spencer (7). When not in the office organizing the Savvy team, coordinating promotions, reviewing editorial submissions and moderating ShareSavvy posts, she is testing out new recipes for EatSavvy and bringing them into the office to test and share with the rest of us (so we really like her). With all of her spare time, she can be spotted around town juggling skateboards, bicycles, backpacks, and lunch bags, chauffeuring kids to afterschool programs, organizing play dates and volunteering at the kids’ school. Typical behaviour from a former elementary school teacher!
