Katia began writing when she went on her second maternity leave. Her blog IAMTHEMILK started as a humour mommy blog, but then assumed a life of its own covering many topics which often caught the blog's author by surprise. Katia also writes about job searching for Oh Baby Magazine as well as on pop culture and motherhood for MamaPop and Queen Latifah.com. Some of Katia's proudest achievements since starting the blog in September 2012 include being named a BlogHer Voice of The Year 2013 and a Toronto Top 30 Mommy Blogger.
