Make Ahead Recipe
Adapted from The Mom 100 Cookbook
- 1 can chickpeas, washed and rinsed
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp chili powder
Prep and Cook
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, maple syrup, salt and chili powder—mix well. Add the chickpeas and toss to coat with seasonings.
- Bake the chickpeas until they turn golden brown and shrink slightly—about 30 minutes. Taste for seasoning, adding more salt if necessary. Serve warm or at room temperature.
