Sweet Potato Wedges

You'll Need
  • 4 sweet potatoes
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp cumin (optional)
  • 1 tsp each salt and pepper
  • ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
Preparation
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Scrub sweet potatoes and cut into 1” wedges.
  • In a large bowl, toss potatoes with oil, salt and pepper, spices (adjust amounts to your family’s taste), and brown sugar. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Spread on a non-stick baking sheet and roast in the middle of the oven for 25 – 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes until browned.

Good to know: For crispier wedges, place the sweet potatoes under broiler for the last 5 minutes.
