OK, February might not be the most popular kid in school, but don’t be a bully. Here are some tips on how you can make friends:
DO
Get ready for V-day. That means buy cards, candies and decorations early, and think red.
Why? So you can avoid last minute stress and feel the love yourself. Here is some inspiration on V-day the savvy way to get you started.
GO
To Stampede City Gymnastics Club on Monday, February 18 from 10:30 am – 3:30 pm.
Why? It’s a free, all-ages event, and kids love to bounce, swing and roll. Think trampoline, balance beam and uneven bars, great for burning off the cooped up winter energy.
PLAY
A board game in front of the fire.
Why? It’s fun and it keeps you warm. Two things you crave this time of year.
GET
Some MomSpit, the amazing, universal no-rinse cleanser for hands and face.
Why? So your kids will let you touch them the next time they have chocolate all over their face (no more gob-on-the-thumb to wipe them off with). Available at tinygem.ca.
GREEN IT
Save a snowman.
Why? It’s a fun way to make a difference and get your kids involved too.
HELP
Give the gift of diapers to the Evenstart for Children’s Society.
Why? The kids at Evenstart are always in need of diapers for kids aged 2-4 and disposable training pants for kids aged 3-5.
We’ve got love, cozy fires and snowmen for you this month. How bad can it be?
