Calgary Car Detailing Services

What is that awful smell?

That’s how it starts. Then you scour your vehicle for the source. You find raisins, toys dipped in sweet & sour sauce and aha, that missing sippy cup from the July road trip.

Summer is a tough season for the familymobile, no question, but detailing is a term that is often lost on non-car-aficionados. In essence, it’s spring cleaning for your home-on-the-go and post-Labor Day is a good time to return your baby (if you ever called it that) to its former glory before it gets too cold to keep the windows open when you’re driving.

You can expect upholstery shampoo, vent vacuuming and wheel washing on top of the usual interior and exterior wash. Spilled milk, crusty leftovers and gooey hand prints will be a thing of the past.

Save yourself a lot of time, sweat and plain old boredom by bringing in the professionals.

Mobile Reflections is the ultimate car detailing service. They come right to your home in Calgary and surrounding area, and they bring their own machines and products. Owner Jed Bouscal claims they can get anything out of anywhere (including your kids’ best hiding spot). If you ask, Mobile Reflections will go beyond squeaky clean to next to new. They specialize in restoring paint and reconditioning interior surfaces. But, this all comes at a price (albeit much less than a new car of course). A full interior and exterior detail will run you at least $200. Luxury services are in demand in Boomtown these days so book 4 to 6 weeks in advance.

Car detailing may seem extreme. But extreme kid dirt calls for extreme measures. Think of it as maintenance and you can justify anything—and it’s a lot cheaper than a new paint job.
