Urban Cowboy

Buckles and Beads Handcrafted Belts
Father's Day Belt

Your man has the boots, the hat and the country music lined up ready to go Stampeding. Add a groovy T-shirt, bootcut jeans, leather belt and voila, your honey is transformed into one urban cowboy (much to our delight).

About the belt…we all know the ultimate accessory to any cowboy (dare we call it) outfit is a big, brash belt buckle. Just in time for Father’s Day, we have scoped out Buckles and Beads, a local business designing and hawking one-of-a-kind artisan belt buckles for cowboys and girls alike.

Artists, entrepreneurs and savvy moms Lara Hughes and Tora Boyle create their unique designs from photos, artwork, metal and even multi-media collages. They are always on the lookout for bits of fabric, vintage jewelry or pieces of nature to incorporate into their unique masterpieces.

Buckles and Beads have several buckles in stock available in the $25 – 35 range or you can get creative and design your own by selecting images from a favorite album, photograph or book or select pieces from their wide assortment. Buckles take approximately seven to ten days to complete, leaving you lots of time before D-Day (17 days to go and counting).

Skip the traditional tie and go for the urban cowboy alternative. A unique, local, artisan-crafted belt buckle will not only take that country uniform to the next level, it will be a Father’s Day gift he’ll treasure for Stampedes to come.

Savvy Special: Buckles and Beads is offering a 10% discount on all in stock belt buckles. Just mention you are a SavvyMom reader to redeem.
