Bell Walk For Kids Help Phone
Bell Walk For Kids Walkers

Sometimes kids find themselves in tough situations no matter how hard we work at keeping them safe and sheltered.

Kids Help Phone knows this. That’s why they have professional counsellors who are trained to ask the right questions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They empower young people by giving them the tools to make healthy choices and decisions and connecting them to resources in their own communities.

In 2007, Kids Help Phone counsellors helped kids from almost 3,000 communities more than two million times on the phone and online.

  • 70% of the young people who contact Kids Help Phone are kids dealing with the everyday problems of growing up or facing a problem they cannot handle with their normal support systems.
  • 30% of contacts are from children at risk who don’t have the confidence, the skills or the support to deal with their problems and who are in a crisis or dangerous situation.

The Bell Walk for Kids Help Phone is the most important fundraiser of the year for Kids Help Phone. Every dollar raised allows Kids Help Phone to provide help and hope to kids in communities across Canada. Since 2002, the Walks have raised over $12 million. This year’s goal is $3 million.

You can help these kids too. Get your family out and come walk with us at a Walk in your area on Sunday, May 4.
