Dress for Success

Kids T-shirts

Baby Einsteins, young Tigers, the political leaders of tomorrow—and to think we are the ones who wiped their bums. We also feed them, love them and teach them how to dress.

The dressing part is not to be taken lightly and apparently clothes really can make a statement—literally—even for the drooler set.

Check out dreamkids, started by moms with great taste and big ideas who are dedicated to creating products that celebrate, inspire, and develop the potential of children from birth to age 6. Their T’s come with slogans like: “All I have to be is me” and “Here to change the world”. Designed to celebrate and nurture each child’s unique potential for greatness, how can we argue with that philosophy?

image For the boys, our fave t-shirts come from Kid Brother founded by mom entrepreneur Carol Petrie. Why should girls have all the fun with clothes? Carol has captured the true essence of boys with messages like “Chaos Manufacturing Company - The Master of Disaster” and “Trucking Company - We’ll Drive you Crazy”. (Get it?) This stylish line is available online for boys from six months to four years.

imageFor the girls, instill self-confidence with t-shirts that say “Girls are smart” or “Girls are confident” from Girls are…, a line created by two moms who were dissatisfied with the lack of positive messages aimed at young girls. Their mutual goal is to raise daughters who are confident, proud, happy and smart, and what’s more savvy than that?

It’s all about the t-shirt this summer. So get one and make a statement, will ya?
