Consider the term “soap scum”. It’s somewhat troubling, isn’t it? Especially when it comes to babies.
Why is it that in the course of getting our babies clean the bath toys end up dirty? More than dirty, slimy even. (And where did all those rubber duckies come from anyway? An impressive proliferation of the species, to be sure.)
Actually, there is a scientific explanation to all this (no, not the rubber duckie part, the soap scum part) which has something to do with the hydrocarbon end on the soap molecule attracting fat molecules. But let’s not expand too much on that right now.
We were working on a solution to this typical toddler bathtub mess when along hopped the Boon Frog Pod.
Invented by an award winning industrial designer and mother of two young girls, the Frog Pod is a bath toy scoop and storage bin all rolled into one big friendly frog.
You can scoop up and rinse bath toys in bulk to get rid of the soap scum. Then holes in the frog’s back allow the toys to thoroughly dry, eliminating mildew problems. The fingers and toes can be used to hang washclothes and sponges, and the hidden shelf provides storage for shampoo and other bath products.
Admit it—you haven’t been rinsing off those toys after each bath, have you? Well, try the new Three Step Amphibian Program. It’s as easy as Scoop, Rinse, Store.
Now that’s a boon for bathtime.
