Back to school, back to shmool. What about Mom?
We don’t need recess to justify our own back to school retail therapy with clothes from Joe Fresh Style.
Who’s he, you say? Well, you have to go to the grocery store to find him.
Joe Fresh Style is the handiwork of Joe Mimran, a Canadian fashion icon and the style genius behind Alfred Sung, Club Monaco and Caban. His latest creation, the Joe Fresh Style line, is sold exclusively in 44 select Superstores across the country.
We checked it out and we love it. We admit, we’re not Italian-trained fashion experts, but we know what we like and we definitely know a good deal when we see it.
Some of our finds included:
But our off-the-charts excitement was had in the Sleepwear and Yoga departments.
We found a wide range of very cute mix-and-match tanks and t-shirts with complementary cozy bottoms for bedtime (floral ‘wallpaper’ patterns, ribbon ties, Hermes-inspired designs and more). Nothing is over $20. (Rude to leave it in the store, really.)
The Yoga section has everything you need to stay in shape and/or look good while you try. But unlike other well known yoga fashion brands of the citrusy type (ahem), Joe is only asking for $20–40 a pop.
(The Mens section is great too, for that “I got something for you too, honey” gift. We loved the classic plain front chinos in chocolate brown for $19.)
Some of the Superstores have more Joe than others. The Weston Road and 401 location is the biggest, newest and best while Dufferin and Steeles is a close second.
For more locations across Canada, consult the store locator at Joe.ca.
(Pssst. We heard from a very reliable source that the former Caban locations at the Queen’s Quay and Bathurst & St. Clair Loblaw’s stores will be filled with Joe Fresh Style come this October so get ready!)
Trust Joe—just go.
