PartySavvy: Hollywood Party

Movie Star Party
PartySavvy: Hollywood Party

Let’s face it—the kids are the stars in your house. They have personal caterers, photos are taken of them regularly, they’re chauffeured around and are showered with gifts and adulation. They’re even good at pulling the occasional public tantrum.

So what better way to celebrate their roles in our lives than with a Hollywood birthday party?

Dim the lights and bring on the popcorn—Popcorn Birthday Cake, that is. Serve up even more Oscar-worthy desserts with super easy-to-make Movie Star Cupcakes and chocolate-covered ‘Tuxedo’ Strawberries.

Red Carpet Roll-Ups
Before the star of the show (read: dessert) makes an appearance, be sure to serve your guests these Hollywood Hotdogs and Red Carpet Roll-Ups. Finger food has never been so gourmet (and kid-friendly). Remember, it’s all about ambiance, which is why we love these easy movie-themed decor ideas.

Oscar StatueYou’ll want to build up those appetites with activities fit for a star. We suggest you send them on a Red Carpet Obstacle Course. Finish up your party with a screening of your child’s favourite movie, and these personal Concession Stand Boxes.

Don’t forget to check their VIP passes on a regular basis, and make sure you award them with their own Academy Awards at the end of the party.

Yes, they may be our mini celebs, but let’s not forget who runs the show.

And the Oscar goes to: Mom.
