Spring Birthday Party Ideas
PartySavvy: A Celebration of Spring

It’s party time! We’re celebrating spring with the launch of our newest SavvyMom edition, PartySavvy. It’s a guide, it’s a plan and it’s a recipe for party success—because we love (and obsess about) birthday parties, family events and any special occasion.

Each month we’ll focus on a theme. So fittingly, this month we bring you delightful ideas for a spring celebration outdoors.

Because you need something sweet, these fun and fuss-free, fork and spoon-free marshmallow pops will keep all the kids happy and the parents impressed.

If you don’t mind getting a bit messy, try a spring perennial favourite…worms in dirt. You might get your fingers dirty (and mouths and clothes), but that’s what spring is all about.

For a more traditional birthday cake, adults and kids alike will dig right into this yummy garden cake .

Caterpillar SandwichTo keep the blood sugar levels down before dessert, surprise guests with this impressive platter of caterpillar sandwiches. The wow factor with this dish proves that presentation is paramount when entertaining (but doesn’t have to be difficult as you can see here).

A party isn’t much fun without activities and great loot to match the theme of choice, which is why we’ll be checking these two items off our list for you with each monthly edition of PartySavvy.

Finally, we can’t forget a gift for the guest of honour. There is nothing more difficult than trying to find the right toy for a child in a different age group (and gender) than yours. We have you covered with our Savvy Spring Birthday Party Gift Picks.

And of course, no launch is complete without a contest.

Have fun. We hope you are inspired to celebrate in savvy style this month.
