What’s in the Toronto edition?

Toronto is a big place with a lot of stuff happening, but it’s tough to stay on top of it all in between grilled cheesers and diaper changes. That’s why we search out the best solutions to your local family dilemmas and deliver them to you every Thursday morning in SavvyMom Today.

Where else is SavvyMom?
We’ve got teams on the ground in Vancouver, Ottawa and Calgary so we can deliver the savvy scoop there too. And our Tuesday National edition covers savvy solutions for moms everywhere. How do you decide what to write about?
We only write about the things we love, and what we find to be useful as moms. All of the products and services featured on SavvyMom Today have been tried and tested by the SavvyMom team, sometimes with help from our readers too.

Do you make money from the products and services you feature?
No. We do not receive a penny from anything we cover as editorial on SavvyMom Today. Not one. That would be contrary to our strict editorial policy and it would take the fun and trust away from our writing.

So how do you make money then?
We offer ad space in the emails and on our website (it’s similar to a magazine that way). That’s why you see all the pretty pictures around the articles from our carefully selected partners. They allow us to pay the rent, the city writers and our web team so we can continue to deliver SavvyMom to you. From time to time, we will also send you an extra email on behalf of an advertiser, clearly marked ‘From Our Partner’. Once a month, we send you a Shop Savvy edition, paid for by featured small businesses (mostly mom-run ones) that have a special money-saving offer to share exclusively with SavvyMom readers.

How can I find my old favourite articles?
Easy. Go to www.savvymom.ca and use our searchable archive. Every single article we have ever published is there so no need to bookmark or save them.
