Well Hello!
January’s almost over and frankly, we are done with resolutions.
Sometimes don’t you just feel like going out and getting a manicure? (We did tell you to take some time for you, right?)
Really, just look at the state of your hands. Rough, flakey and those cuticles - oy!
Too busy? Too cold outside? Kid’s nap schedule keeping you tied to the house?
Well, Hello! Our solution is Hello Nails, the mobile spa service for those who prefer the manicure and pedicure to come to them.
That’s right, Charlotte (mom entrepreneur and founder of Hello Nails) will come to your home or office and get you all polished up.
Hello Nails is extending their special ‘friends and family’ offer to SavvyMom subscribers because—and we have to quote Charlotte on this—“any friend of SavvyMom is a friend of mine”. Yes, Monday to Thursday, SavvyMoms can get a mani and pedi in the comfort of their own home for $45 (regularly $65) after 7:00 pm.
So put the kids to bed and relax. Your spa evening has begun.
Now, that’s worth answering the door for.

P.S. If you’re not in Toronto but need some mani relief, Charlotte was gracious enough to share some of her nail care tips for these long, cold winter months
1. Always wear gloves/mittens outdoors—any exposure to the elements dries out your skin.
2. Use a cuticle oil once a day to keep your hands looking their best.
3. Try to wear a layer of protection on your nails—any clear polish or strengthener will do.
4. Wear gloves when you are washing dishes. Spa tip—apply oil on your hands, and wear cotton gloves with rubber gloves on top. As you are washing up, the heat from the oil penetrates the skin. Results—super soft skin.
