Some celebrate Passover, some celebrate Easter and others celebrate the fact that they are not celebrating.
We all have different beliefs, but at savvymom.ca we are sure of two things that most everyone can celebrate:
1. Chocolate is good for you
2. Long weekends are good for you
The cocoa bean is known to have potent antioxidants called phenols – like the ones found in red wine – that prevent the bad cholesterol from building up in our arteries. Women have known since ancient times that it has special healing powers and now we have scientific proof.
Bottom line? We love it and we know that most kids do too. So we’ve put together two chocolate recipes that you can enjoy making and/or eating with your family over the long weekend.
Roll up your sleeves and get busy with the kids. These recipes are both simple and savvy, and they appeal to a few of our core beliefs – chocolate and holidays.
Easter Cream Eggs – the original inspiration for those store-bought ones!
Passover Brownies – easy as 1-2-3 to make and yummy too!
So keep the faith this holiday season – you can diet next week.
Our best wishes to you and your family from the team at SavvyMom.
