Holiday Wishes
‘Tis the night before Christmas, so we’ll make this one brief,
We know all is perfect, your tree and the wreath.
Just one more day, he says to you with a sigh,
“No, no,” you respond, “there’s one more week left, big guy”.
But why is Daddy so tired and surprised at this truth,
You wonder as you wait for the man on the roof.
Surely all the shopping, wrapping and cooking you’ve done,
Will be appreciated, valued, not just regarded as ‘fun’.
Now it’s time to shift gears, make some plans to stay in,
We know what you want most, to spend time with your kin.
Take comfort in knowing you have help with the house,
We’re just one click away with your own little mouse.
