From Our Partner: Sam's Club

We may not be living in caves anymore but sometimes it feels like we are back in the days of hunting and gathering—navigating our way through the urban jungle in our minivans, hunting for deals and gathering food and comforts for our families. But where’s that one place were we can stock up and load everything in the van to take home?

We found the place…SAM’S CLUB.

First, join the club for $45 (or $40 if you have a small business). Then walk in and look around. You’ll find jewelry, electronics (we’re talking flat screens) and wireless handheld devices (with the friendly assistance you need). Then stroll down the main aisle where the merchandise is always changing, but you can count on seasonal items for the home and garden. Right now it’s back to school season with everything you need—backpacks, pencil cases and note books. T-shirts, yoga gear and casual clothes for kids and adults as well—you’ll be amazed at what you can find.

Stock up on the restaurant-quality AAA Canadian Beef or Prime Chicken. It comes in family sizes so just split it up into the right-sized portion, pop into a freezer bag with a yummy marinade and keep it for another day. It’s a great place to go if you are entertaining a crowd. You can even call ahead and pre-order sushi, cheese, meat, veggie or fruit platters. If you are in a rush for dinner, pick up a rotisserie chicken and warm crusty baguette to feed the gang while you are unpacking the rest of your loot.

And every good hostess needs fresh flowers. SAM’S CLUB has those too.

Need to keep track of your expenses? Whether you are running a household, a business or both, SAM’S CLUB is a great place to find your office equipment and supplies. Look for everything from printers and faxes to file folders and pens.

When the day is done, retire to your bed, (covered with SAM’S CLUB 750 thread count, 100% cotton sheets) and read your new book or watch the latest DVD release you hunted down that day.

Hunting and gathering can be exhausting so make sure you enjoy the fruits of your labour. You deserve it.
