Smart Cookies
If you have peanut concerns at home or in the classroom, we feel your pain and so do the savvy moms behind Two Moms Baked Goods, makers of Safe Snacks. Caroline Davis and Aime Rocket started the company just over a year ago because they were tired of sending their children to school with unhealthy, processed peanut-free snacks. So they took matters into their own kitchens and created a premium nut-free, kosher line of products that best represents their high demands for taste and nutritional value.
These moms wanted to create a line of products that their children could be proud of and it’s clear they know their audience with flavours like double chocolate chip, chocolate chip oatmeal and oatmeal raisin. But the audience doesn’t need to know these cookies are also low in fat and high in fibre, now do they? Caroline and Aime are also happy to host birthday parties and cooking classes for those interested in a peanut free facility.
Find them at specialty food stores across Toronto or contact the ‘Two Moms’ by email and order some cookies for yourself. Delivery is available for large orders.
To be a smart cookie or to eat a smart cookie? That is the question.
