It is essential for Canadians that we know how to “do summer” right. So in an effort to cherish every minute of summer while we can, we must cross a few of the regular to-do items off our list in favour of more leisurely activities. The first one to go for moms is the meal prep, and we say that because we know we have a great option. So whether you are planning a trip to the cottage, the campground or just enjoying the backyard with family and friends, but you don’t want to spend all day shopping and preparing food, SupperWorks can help you live well and eat well all summer long.

SupperWorks is the one stop meal assembly kitchen where you can book an appointment and literally assemble six to twelve meals (for four to six people) in close to an hour. All of the fresh meals (made by you, supermom) can be taken home and left in the freezer until they are ready to be eaten. The popularity and growth of SupperWorks over the last few years has led to an expansion of their offerings for mealtime solutions. If you need a break on the weekend, the Three Entrée Pick Up makes dinner time a breeze. If you are heading out of town and need some meals ready to go, pick up 6, 9 or 12 entrees on the way to the cottage! (Note that you will need to call Supperworks ahead of time and arrange for a convenient pick up time.) Spend more time with your family over the weekend instead of in the kitchen (by yourself). And speaking of popularity, did we mention that SupperWorks has won a few awards? They are the proud recipients of the 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year for their Oakville store and the 2007 People’s Choice “New Business of the Year” for the Orleans store.

If you are looking for a SupperWorks near you, you’re in luck because they have just opened a few more locations. There are currently 14 locations throughout Southern Ontario with brand new stores in Markham, Kingston, The Beaches and Guelph (opening in June).

Not near one of the 14 locations but need the SupperWorks solution? Starting in June, SupperWorks will introduce a “Delivery to Anywhere in Canada” service. It’s designed for those who live outside of the regular service areas but still would like to enjoy delicious, nutritious home-cooked meals without the hassle and without the mess. SupperWorks entrees will be packed in insulated boxes with ice packs and shipped overnight via courier for about $6.00 per serving—that’s definitely cheaper than take out.
