Special Edition: A Fabulous Affair
A Family Affair Thank You
Thank you for making SavvyMom’s A Family Affair the most wonderful family event of the year.
On Sunday, May 6, 2007, smiles and laughter filled the Metro Toronto Convention Centre along with music, dancing and entertainment in support of SickKids Foundation.
With the help of over 20 sponsors, 40 event partners and two volunteer committees as well as over 200 volunteers on the day, we raised close to $300,000. A Family Affair transformed the 120,000 square foot venue into a themed activity park where families were invited to “picnic” and take in the entertainment, activities and exciting surprises for the kid in everyone.
The funds raised from A Family Affair will support paediatric research at The Hospital for Sick Children, work that will result in improved quality health care for children and their families in our community, across Canada and around the world.
SavvyMom Media would like to thank all of the sponsors, Foundation staff and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event possible and who contributed to helping SickKids Foundation achieve their vision of: Healthier children. A better world.
