Redfish Kids
One Fish, Two Fish, Redfish

Pardon our lapse into Dr. Seuss prose, but we just love Redfish Kids. The Vancouver designed and produced line fuses cultures and styles with modern lines cut from artisanal prints for fashionistas—from 3 months to youth size 14. (Salma Hayek and Julia Roberts are fans.)

After an online-only presence, Redfish made its foray into retail on Hornby Street four months ago. Buoyed by the success of that location, they are opening a West Vancouver (1512 Marine Drive) location on July 20th.

The fresh white space is punctuated with artful collections of colourful, whimsical and durable clothing and playthings—all designed with love and carefully selected to stir up everyone’s imagination.

Toys placed at toddler height encourage kids to experience the great toy lines available here, while mom shops. Popular picks include life-like woolly mammoth stuffies by Hansa Toys of Australia and shiny wooden sports cars by Playsam of Sweden.

Check out local designer Amanda Vogler’s line of mommy-and-me pieces created just for Redfish. All pieces showcase semi-precious gems chosen for their healing qualities. We just had to have the coral bracelet purported to assist with colic and ward away emotional stress!

Back-to-school shopping will be a breeze this year with Redfish Kids. Did we really just say back to school? Sorry.
