With the weatherman promising smoking hot temperatures for the next few weeks, why not keep the family cool at Splashdown Park in sunny Tsawwassen?
You’re guaranteed fun for the whole family, with 13 slides, three pools, a sprinkler park, a giant hot tub, beach volleyball, a concession stand, an ice-cream parlour and an arcade—there’s definitely something for everyone.
Fan favourites are the Whipper Snapper and the Black Hole, but even the toddler slides make a big splash. Wee-ones can slide with a parent—and both will be clamouring for more.
Bring your own picnic cooler or enjoy a treat at their concession (grilled cheese sandwich for $3.50) or ice-cream stand (cash only).
Good to Know: Line-ups are shortest earlier in the day (they open at 10 am) and the 48-inch-and-under set get reduced rates. Twilight rates are in effect four hours before closing (i.e. 2 pm on Fridays). Group rates apply for parties of 15 or more (if booked in advance) making Splashdown the perfect destination for family reunions or summer birthdays. Lockers and BBQ rentals are extra but worth it.
