The Latest
The biggest news moms can use in Vancouver is that Ivivva Athletica, a new concept store from Lululemon with a line of clothes for active girls aged six years and up opens November 27. Ivivva’s flagship store opens on Kitsilano’s 4th Ave with (of course) a dance party. Ivivva’s dance-inspired, cross-functional clothes have been designed to celebrate movement and meet the needs of active young girls (think: playing in the park, school, dance class or soccer practice). Look for new takes on the famous Lulu hoodies, rain coats, groove pants, headbands and more! 

Don’t Leave the Babies in the Corner
On Mount Pleasant’s Main Street, a brand-new clothing and accessory boutique opens mid-November, aptly named Main Street Baby. Owner Joanna Mileos also runs Granville Island Toy Store. Her focus with this store will be 0 – 24 month olds and on local suppliers such as Po Po’s Ponchos, Sweet Peanut, and Agoo.

Kids are Kool Too
In Kerrisdale, our scouts were happy to discover that Nestings Kids has found a new home on West 41st Ave. This high-end baby and children’s furniture and accessory store’s new open-concept space feels much larger, and they are now carrying a selection of clothing from local designer Peekaboo Beans.

Go North
Finally, on the North Shore, Tartooful, a fun gift and art boutique has a new home in Edgemont Village. Cathy Church, the store owner, loves to find original work from emerging artists, and her current selection includes local designers Sock Love, Astrosatchel and Mally Bibs. This is one store on the list where you might find something for yourself, too!

It might be a bit early, but we like to know where to go, so when the going gets shopping, the shopping gets done.
