Picture Yourself on SavvyMom Photo Contest

Have you ever imagined having your fave photos displayed on our savvy site? Now’s your chance! Each month, we will announce our theme and you will have the opportunity to submit your photo on Facebook where your family, friends and other fans can vote.

The winning photo will be displayed on our site, as well as in a gallery on our Facebook fan page for the full year (along with the two runners’ up). Each month, we will also be offering a different prize. This month, our prize is a Gallery-wrap Photo on Canvas” courtesy of Posterjack.ca.

Our June theme is Pet Photos. See rules below and best of luck!

1. You must become a fan to submit or vote on a photo.
2. You must be a resident of Canada to enter and be eligible for the prize.
3. To submit a photo: start on our Wall, leave a comment (your full Facebook name) and click on the photo icon to attach your photo. Once you post, your photo and name will immediately appear in our Fan Photos section in the Photos Tab. The photo when posted just needs a full name with it, and a caption which could include names, place, or ages of kids etc.
4. Only one photo per fan per month. Anything more will be removed without notice.
5. You must have the sole rights to the photo.
6. Sadly, you cannot vote for your own photo. (But your friends and family certainly can!).
7. To vote: Type in the word SAVVY under the photos of your choice. This is how we will tally the number of votes. You can only vote once per photo, but for as many photos as you choose. If you vote more than once for the same photo, all your votes will be discounted (so make sure you haven’t already chosen it before voting for it again).
8. You can certainly comment on photos, but if you want to vote for a photo, you must type in SAVVY for it to be counted as an official vote.
9. We’d love your vote as well as your submissions, so please take the time to look through the others and vote for your faves.
10. Each theme will run for the full month. Please make sure your photo is relevant to the current theme, otherwise the photo will be removed without notice. SavvyMom Media reserves the right to remove any photos we deem inappropriate to the contest.
11. Any photos that are not appropriate or are in conflict with standard Facebook rules
will be automatically removed.
12. At the end of the contest, the votes will be tallied and the winning photo and two runners’ up will be posted in an album on this page with the title and month of the contest where they will be proudly displayed.
13. Winners will be contacted via Facebook and prize arrangements made accordingly. So please make sure you leave your full name under the photo as you have it on Facebook.
14. New themes will be posted at the beginning of every month both here and on our SavvyBlog.
