Laundry Staging

Use two laundry hampers in different colours—one for the clean stuff right from the dryer, one to toss dirty stuff in. If necessary, you can live for a day or two by digging in the clean hamper for socks and underwear before they get put away and you still have a place for all the dirty stuff that accumulates.
