Furniture Anchors Can Save Your Child’s Life

furnitureanchors

In the last two years, three toddlers have been killed by falling dressers. Most recently a 22-month-old  died when he accidentally tipped over IKEA’s well-known Malm dresser. His parents thought he was napping and didn’t hear the dresser fall.

These incidents are an awful reminder of how easily something as seemingly benign as a dresser can turn dangerous for your little one if the proper precautions aren’t in place. What’s scary is that these parents are just like the rest of us; you build the dresser, throw out the packaging and don’t think of it again. Many of us know we should be anchoring our furniture and dressers, but daily life gets in the way and it becomes one of the million other things you need to get around to.

Great information on this post. Very important.
I should recommend though, that for children’s health & safety, you should try United Canada Inc… they have great ergonomic furniture for children + more.
