Halloween in Ottawa is just around the corner, and with the leaves turning brilliant colours the National Capital Region is gearing up for a spooktacular Halloween. With pumpkin patches, costume contests, haunted mazes, face painting and more there is something for everybody! Check out these wickedly great events happening in the area and join in the Halloween fun!

Pumpkins After Dark

This ultimate family Halloween extravaganza is held at Wesley Clover Park and runs Thursdays through to Sundays until the end of the month. With over 10,000 hand carved pumpkins that illuminate the night as you stroll through the park you will be amazed by all that is on site. With classic Halloween characters brought to life through pumpkin art this is a great outdoor activity on a nice autumn night.

Saunders Farm

Saunders Farm is a Halloween favourite in the Ottawa area and offers fun for all ages with the added bonus of a pumpkin patch on site. During the daytime enjoy wagon rides, live shows, hedge mazes and fun for the whole family. In the evening you can join in the “spine-tingling” Fright Fest which will leave you screaming and is best for your teens and older family members.

Halloween Family Fun

Centre Meredith in Chelsea, Qc is bringing you an entire weekend of Halloween fun! Kick things off on Friday October 27th with a Teen Spooky Night and then on Sunday October 29th from 10-1p.m. there will be a special Black Cat adoption event. Stick around for a family friendly Halloween Extravaganza Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm. featuring face painting, pumpkin carving, bouncy castles, music, crafts and more! Get ready for some family spooky fun.

Pumpkin Fest at Proulx Farm

Pumpkin Fest at Proulx Farm brings you Halloween fun and is running until October 29th. With many activities on site such as hay structures, face paining, outdoor play park, cornfield mazes, wagon rides, petting farm and more there is lots to explore at this east end location.

Pumpkinferno

This classic event at Upper Canada Village is a magical halloween experience. With over 7,000 hand carved pumpkins on site experience an enchanting Halloween inspired evening with your whole family. We suggest getting there early (even better if you head there on a week night!) to beat the crowds.
