Start organizing your side hall/mud room/front closet
Why? So your mornings, afternoons and evenings can run more smoothly. But mostly so the mornings do. You’ll find some great ideas in our 22 Morning Time Savers.
Programmed and sign your kids up for activities
Why? Routine is good for everyone. Kids crave it and moms need it to get through the day. Social interaction with humans is critical so make sure you and the kids are signed up for some community art, music or sports classes.
Why? It’s old school and kids love it. Draw a large square on the ground with lines dividing it into quadrants. One player stands in each numbered square. No. 1 goes first. The player bounces a ball from the outside corner of her square into another player’s square. That player must bounce the ball in his square once and return it to any other player’s square by hitting the ball back. Once the ball enters a new player’s square, it must be returned. Continue until a mistake eliminates someone. The winner is the last one standing.
