The Great Legendary Easter Hunt at Butterfield Acres

Kids will also get to do some spring planting and visit with the farmyard animals. Be sure to get tickets soon—they go fast.More info here.

Easter in the CORE
This free hunt will appeal to both the younger and older set, with plastic eggs hidden around the CORE centre (in common areas, and in participating stores marked with decals on their entrances) filled with tasty treats and other prizes. When eggs are found, just bring them to the cash desk of the store or to Guest Services to redeem the prize. What an Easter treat: to get some shopping time in while keeping the kids entertained. We love that it's running from April 3-15 (a longer event run time means more spots are available). Be sure to take in some playtime at Devonian Gardens during your visit. Hop to it!

Calgary Zoo Easter Eggstravaganza
Where do little bunnies belong? In the zoo, of course. This Easter ‘eggstravaganza' is a favourite for a reason. On March 30 and 31, kids of all ages can explore, create, and learn. This year is all about learning about native bees and butterflies and how we can help them thrive. Be sure to take in all the animals as well. It's a great way to run off all that chocolate that the kids will consume! More info here.

Easter Petting Zoo at Westbrook Mall
Some friendly bunnies, chicks, goats and sheep will be stopping by the mall for a visit on Saturday, March 31, making for a sweet treat for the small set. Plus, we love that you can get free photos with the Easter bunny (only from 12-4 pm).More info here.
