Glama Gal Tween Spa

glama gal review toronto

Remember when you were a little kid and you used to ‘paint’ your nails with markers because your mom wouldn’t let you use nail polish? Or playing spa in the bathroom and pampering your dolls? That was before there was a nail salon on every corner and a mani took 15 minutes. We remember a time when going to the spa was a special experience.

Enter Glama Gal Tween Spa. Designed to cater to kids aged 5-12, this pink paradise is more than just a day spa for kids. With manicure and pedicure stations sized to fit the smaller set and staff who love pampering little princes and princesses, Glama Gal is about more than just making your outsides look pretty—they want to help beautify your insides too.

For a first visit we love the My First Time at the Spa package, which includes a dessert manicure and pedicure (like an ‘ice cream’ bath bomb for their fingers and toes, and ‘icing’ aka moisturizing lotion), a chocolate or banana facial mask and a photo keepsake. If mom wants to get in on the action, why not book a VIP Mom and Me treatment? You’ll get some great alone time with your little one as you are welcomed with luxurious spa robes and fruity pinkatinis and cupcakes. Next up are side-by-side dessert manicures and pedicures complete with a cup of ice cream to enjoy while you are being pampered.

Glama Gal offers fantastic workshops, camps and party options (we know a couple of girls who are excited to celebrate their eighth birthdays with a party here). And with nine locations around the GTA—including a new spot at Yorkdale—you’ll be able to find a location near you.

What we love most about Glama Gal is that every visit comes complete with a healthy dose of confidence boosting—the Glama Gal motto is ‘be confident, be positive, be you’ after all. A place for our kids to learn that they are beautiful inside and out? We’ll raise a pinkatini to that.
