Kid-Friendly Events Happening in Vancouver in June

Vancouver Family Events in June

Even in a pandemic, June is no joke. The countdown to the last day of school is officially on, but this month is usually bursting with year-end projects, school assemblies, recitals, fun fairs, and report cards. Summer sports would cross over with school extracurriculars, meaning our weeknights were twice as busy (and we thought it wasn’t possible to be any busier).

Now we have an overabundance of “quality” family time. But we’re finally allowed to leave the house…

What to do? What to do?

Here are a few fun kid-friendly options happening in and around Vancouver in June…

**Events and attractions subject to change due to COVID-19 restrictions**

Fraser River Discovery Centre

The Fraser River Discovery Centre’s Historical Walking Tours begin Saturday, June 5. Learn about the environment, history, and culture of the Fraser River while strolling down the New Westminster quay. Tours are offered Saturdays at 10:30am and Sundays at 2:00pm September 5th. Quayside fully-guided tours are typically 90 minutes long and take place rain or shine, so dress for the weather.
