Ida Mae began teaching in 1996 and has taught students of all elementary school grades and abilities in her roles as a classroom, special education and Reading Recovery™ teacher. In the Spring of 2013, Ida Mae launched a new site called That Fun Reading Teacher with early literacy tips for parents and teachers, and a "Kids' Stuff" section packed with seasonal Read-Alouds, Songs, Poems, Videos and Games for children to enjoy while building literacy skills.
