Tis the season of potlucks, picnics, teacher appreciation lunches, classroom parties, road trip planning, and backyard barbecues. It’€™s also the time of year when most moms are time-strapped and looking for simple solutions to assist with their busy days. While I can’€™t help you buy your teacher’€™s gifts (but you can head here for inspiration!) I can offer you a recipe for one treat that will be perform perfectly for any of the occasions listed above.
This butterscotch crispy bar recipe should be tucked in your back pocket for whatever event you might be cooking for in the coming month. They set nice and firm, store well at room temperature for five days, or can be stashed in the freezer for even longer if you happen to have the foresight to make them in advance. Kids love them, adults have been known to sneak more than just one when they think no one is looking and the ingredient list is comprised of things you likely already have on hand in your kitchen. In other words, these are too good and easy to not to make this month.

Head here for a quick refresher on how to cut bars and squares evenly.
