GlobalFest: Until Saturday, August 29
You know school is just around the corner when you hear a crackle in the sky and spot hundreds of fireworks exploding over Elliston Park. This international fireworks competition is top notch, with competitors from around the world. Kids will be dazzled by the displays, but equally enamoured by the international flavour of the night market. Food, toys, games—it’s all here until this Saturday, August 29.

Cornucopia at Cobb’s Corn Maze: September 4–7
Newly opened this summer, this Calgary attraction boasts a Cornucopia event the first weekend in September. Besides mazes, games and crafts, they’re sporting a pedal racing track, archery tag and bouncy castles galore. The addition of Zorbz and Waterz funballz ensures big kids have just as much fun as the youngsters.

Fall Harvest Sale at Heritage Park: September 12–13
Truckloads of fresh fruit and vegetables can be yours for historically low prices at Heritage Park from September 12–13. This annual sale presented by the Calgary Produce Marketing Association is also a charity event supporting the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, Community Kitchen Program, and the Heritage Park Society. You’ll feel good knowing you’re supporting those in need, not to mention all that healthy produce you’re loading up on.
