Holiday Happenings

SavvyMom April 8, 2016

The hustle and bustle of the holidays is upon us (yes, it’€™s time). So celebrate the season with your kids at any number of special events throughout the city this November.
Take advantage of dry pavement and clear blue skies this weekend with a visit to the annual Millarville Christmas Market complete with carollers, pony rides and a visit to Santa’€™s Workshop.

Heritage Park hosts the Encana Family Skate for Toy Mountain this Saturday, November 12 between 11 am and 2 pm. Santa will be on site with his reindeer and there will be free crafts, games and admission to Gasoline Alley. Once Upon a Christmas is another ticketed event that gets underway at the park starting November 19 and runs through to the Christmas break.

Make a killer wreath for your home, or make one for someone else at Kayben Farms, where they welcome wreath makers, shoppers and skaters every Wednesday evening between November 16 and December 17. Many activities are free for families.
