Sparks Fly: A Taylor Swift-Inspired STEAM Party

When: Sat. November 30 at 6pm
Where: H.R. MacMillan Space Centre

H.R. MacMillan Space Centre hosts Sparks Fly: A STEAM Party and Immersive Listening Show where guests get to enjoy hands-on science, themed treats, and more. This all-ages event brings together science, technology, engineering, arts, and math for a unique, interactive experience. Whether you’re a STEAM enthusiast, a science lover, or just looking for a fun night out, there’s something here for everyone. Taylor Swift Era’s Karaoke Trolley Tour

When: Friday Dec. 6 – Sunday Dec. 8
Where: Canada Place, 999 Canada Pl.

Taylor Swift Era’s Karaoke Trolley Tour—hosted by The Great Canadian Trolley Company—takes singing Swifties around some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. The tour will depart from Canada Place at 2:30pm and will travel to Stanley Park, the Totem Poles, Prospect Point, and the Olympic Village before ending at Library Square. The trolley is equipped with a top-notch karaoke system so passengers can sing their heart outs to Taylor’s top tracks. Adult fare is $65, youths 3-12 are $37.50 and children under three ride free.

The Eras Pre-party

When: Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7, 3-6pm
Where: Bentall Centre, 505 Burrard St., Vancouver

For those excited to get extra hyped for the concerts, the Bentall Centre is hosting an afternoon pre-party before the first two concert dates. The Eras Pre-party includes friendship bracelet making, concert bag decorating, a DIY patch station, and photo stations. This event is free to attend and suitable for all ages. Arrive at the show in style with the complimentary shuttle to BC Place. Be sure to RSVP online and receive a complimentary gift bag.

Taylor Swift Dance Party Boat Cruises

When: Friday Dec. 6, Saturday Dec. 7, and Sunday Dec. 8 at noon
Where: Burrard Queen Boat, Dock A, 750 Pacific Blvd.

Kick-off the weekend with a Taylor Swift dance party cruise with live DJ, various craft stations, photo booth, dance floor fun and sing-alongs to favourite tracks all on the water. This isn’t just a party — it’s a Swiftie paradise on the water. They’ll be pumping out all of Taylor’s biggest hits, bringing together fans for music, friendship, creativity, and unforgettable memories celebrating everything Swifties love about Taylor. The all-ages cruises run noon-4pm and include food and drinks. Under 18s entry is $68.58 and those 19 and up are $89.59.

Yaletown’s TaylorTown

When: Saturday Dec. 7
Where: Bill Curtis Square and Helmcken Plaza, 338 Helmcken Street, Vancouver

TaylorTown takes place at Bill Curtis Square and Helmcken Plaza on Saturday December 7. This free, family-friendly community event celebrates the holiday season with a Taylor-made twist, welcoming the Swfities to town for the Eras concert and appease the rest of us who didn’t win the Ticketmaster war or want to mortgage our houses for tickets. The one-day event will feature a gift market, a giant friendship bracelet as a photo station, a digital birthday card to Taylor Swift (the 13th is just around the corner), and free visits with Santa.

Swifties Fan Parties at Vancouver Public Library

When: Wednesday Dec. 4, Thursday Dec. 12, and Friday Dec. 13
Where: Vancouver Public Library West Point Grey Branch (Dec. 4), Oakridge branch (Dec. 12) and Hastings branch (Dec. 13)
