Ride, Slide, and Stay Inside: Kids Kingdom in Ottawa

SavvyMom October 17, 2016

It’s time you were appreciated, and we know just the way to make that happen. Take your kids to Kids Kingdom and you’ll be the Queen of the castle. It’s perfect for little princes and princesses who need to blow off a little steam on a cold, wet fall day. There are two locations: Kanata and Orléans.

There’s space for all ages. The toddler area (fully padded!) is set up for climbing, exploring, and sliding while moms (and babes) can sit in comfort and chat or nurse. Bigger kids aged 3–12 will love the larger, castle-themed structure, which features multiple levels, zippy slides of all types, and plenty of little corners to make for a great game of tag or hide and seek.

The best part is that child care is available. Drop off your bundle of energy for a few hours of quiet shopping, or take advantage of their before-and-after school care programs to help make your hectic family schedule work.

Add in fantastic birthday parties, a cafe that serves healthy wraps and salads (along with the finger foods picky eaters like), and the fact that a percentage of all sales go to charity, and you’ve got a place that will have the whole family feeling like royalty.

Good to Know: admission for parents is free on Mondays, and kids are half price on Thursdays.

There are more cold, dreary days ahead—but don’t despair, we’ve got 7 more Indoor Playgrounds in Ottawa.
