There are two decorating slots available, both of which coincide with happy hour pricing, which means that you can enjoy $5 pizzas and cheap drinks along with your tasty cookies! $12 gets you a bundle of 6 pre-baked cookies ready to decorate with candy and icing. Extra cookie bundles are also available for purchase, but tickets to the event must be pre-purchased.

Try to Escape The Locked Library

The Central Library will be hosting a Valentine’s Day activity perfect for a whole family of puzzle-lovers and riddle-solvers. Although the difficulty of the puzzles is geared more towards adults, the event is family-friendly and recommended for groups of four or larger. Together, you’ll have 2 hours to discover clues and solve puzzles in order to escape the enchanted Central Library. There’s probably no more magical way to celebrate the Valentine’s Day weekend than by attending the 7th Annual 65 Roses Princess Ball. This year, little Knights are also encouraged to join in the fun. This event, which features a buffet lunch, dancing, face painting, crafts, live shows, dessert decorating and, of course, real-live princesses and special characters, helps to raise funds to benefit Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

    For me the best way to spend Valentines day is plan a fun outing with my kids and wife. I really like the idea of a High tea as my two little daughters just love hosting pretend tea parties. :))
