For Peep’s Sake: Easter Activities in Vancouver

How_to_Do_Easter_Weekend_in_Vancouver

Easter in Vancouver is hoppin’ with family activities, so it’s time to get our chicks in a row and start planning excursions with our families. Hop to it and check the best ones out.

Warm up their egg hunting skills a week early at City Square Shopping Centre. From noon to 3 pm on March 28 the malls offers an egg hunt, face painting, cookie decorating and a ‘giggle booth’ to tickle everyone’s fancy.

Take your little chicks to the Van Dusen Botanical Garden Egg hunt, on from April 4–5. We love that they have special areas for different ages, and both morning and afternoon sessions. Register online.

Hop to Grouse Mountain for Easter brunch between 10 am and 2 pm. The hill’s adult and children’s buffet are eggcellent, and children ages 4 and under are free. Call to reserve your table.

For a city experience, head to Cafe Medina for the best Belgian waffles this side of Belgium. It’s a Vancouver institution so get there early—doors open at 9 am.

A traditional church experience, choir and all, can be found at Christ Cathedral’s 10:30 am service on Easter Sunday.

Lucy from Peanuts said it best: ‘All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt’.

We’ve got loads of indoor Easter activites for little bunnies, too. Find them all in our 25 Easy Easter Crafts, Recipes and Activities.
