Ice cream is a summertime tradition so we thought it was time to add a few new hot spots (or shall we say refreshing cold spots?) to our original and very tasty scoop selection. We’re pretty sure the kids won’t be the only ones screaming for ice cream after tasting these frozen finds.
Pinkberry, a West Hollywood phenomenon since 2005, is finally coming to Canada, opening its first location in Park Royal tonight (July 21) with free yogurt from 5 to 9 pm. Frozen treats are available in original, pomegranate, chocolate, coconut, green tea, mango, the summer’s fave flavour, watermelon. All their yogurts are made with non-fat milk and loaded with probiotics. Add one or two toppings (try healthy fresh fruit or nuts or for some sugary fun, organic gummy bears) to personalize. If you’re looking for something around mealtime, try a fruit salad, parfait or smoothie. As a bonus, the website lists the nutritional content for all flavours, sizes, and even the cone. With more Lower Mainland locations coming, Pinkberry is soon to be a household name in Vancouver.
