Although the City of Calgary hasn’t hosted a Santa Claus Parade in years, there are still quite a few opportunities to catch Saint Nick in action over the next two months. Mark your calendar for 2019’s Santa Claus Parades in Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, High River and Banff so you don’t miss your chance to see the jolly old elf as he takes up the helm!

The Mini CP train departs from the “station” at the Fairmont Banff Springs between 12 and 2 pm, and kids can meet the man in red for photos at Warner Stables between 10 am and 3 pm. After photos, do a little Christmas shopping at the market before catching Santa in action as part of the parade at dusk!  Finish off the night with carolling by candlelight at Central Park from 7 to 8 pm.
