The sun is out, the snow is melting, and spring is in the air in YYC! With Easter in Calgary just around the corner, visions of egg hunts and bunnies may just be hopping in your head. Easter Tea at Heritage Park

Friday, Saturday & Sunday March 29 – 31st; 11am – 3:30pm

Along with your freshly brewed tea, enjoy petit finger sandwiches, buttermilk scones, and your favourite treats from the Alberta Bakery. There are four sittings daily and reservations are required. Adults 16+ are $47.95 (plus tax), children 15 and under are $32.00 (plus tax) and children two and under are free.

Say hello to spring with the help of the Calgary Zoo’s Easter Eggstravaganza! The event takes place from 9 am until 5 pm for four days and features a ton of fun activities to get your kids hoppin’! Bring your phone along to join in on the virtual egg hunt by searching for QR codes around the zoo and scan the codes to enter to win a prize! Check out the fun Zoo Egg photo ops, visit the treat stations (for kids 12 and under), join in the fun of lawn games in the Game Zone (located on the West Lawn) and, of course, visit your favourite animals as you explore! All of these fun-filled events (and more) are part of your zoo admission.

Easter Holiday Brunch at the Calgary Zoo

Embark on a wild and delightful adventure this Easter with our exclusive Easter Brunch at the zoo! You can enjoy both gourmet and comfort breakfast foods, including a free-flowing chocolate fountain with fresh fruit, eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon, a Belgian waffle bar, cooked to order omelettes, and much more.

The Easter Bunny may prefer warm weather and green grass, but that doesn’t mean he won’t hide a few eggs in the snow! Head to the Cascade Lodge at Mount Norquay before 10:00 am to register for a free Easter Egg Hunt for kids of all ages. The hunt starts at 10 am sharp, and although there will be thousands of eggs to find, you won’t want to be late!
