Set on 540 acres of rambling countryside, just outside of Calgary, this game ranch is an ideal family destination for a little eating, sightseeing and stocking up.

The store serves up barbecue items made without MSG and gluten. If you’ve got kids who beg for burgers and hot dogs at every summer meal, these healthy options will make both mom and kids smile. Open Tuesday to Saturday, they offer smoked buffalo and elk sausages, bison burgers and mini burgers for smaller appetites. Their jerky and buffalo pepperoni sticks can’t be beat for a quick and healthy protein-filled snack. The shop also offers a variety of items to take home so be prepared to stock up.
