The Best Way to Travel with Kids

A new family attraction you don't want to miss. Find out more.

Of all the tips we have on how to travel with kids, our best advice is to not go far. The shorter the trip, the less painful.

That’s why we’re taking our kids on a new kind of cross-country flight this summer with FlyOver Canada, a brand new attraction at Canada Place where the IMAX Theatre used to be. It’s an easier and more economic way for the kids to see the country. And it’s so close.

Buckle in for an amazing ride experience and travel from east to west—feeling the effects of being 20 feet off the ground, wind in your hair, spray off the water, and enjoy the local smells along the way. It’s all part of this new attraction designed to show us just how amazing and diverse our country is. The pre-show, Uplift!, is awesome to watch, but if your kids are small, get them to the front for this standing room only introduction so they can see.

It’s already popular (for good reason), so be prepared for crowds. We like the Priority Boarding Passes, which are $2 more than General Admission and give you a set one-hour time slot. Both General Admission and Priority Boarding Passes can be bought online in advance and save you a little bit of time and money.

Good to Know: Kids must be 102 cm tall to enjoy the attraction.

This is one joy ride you’ll be happy to take the kids on.
