Kanata Santa Claus Parade: Saturday, November 14
Hazeldean Mall, the Kanata-Hazeldean Lions Club and the Kanata Sports Club are presenting this 25th annual event. It starts bright and early at 10 am, so don’t forget to pick up your non-perishable food item before you head out, because Kanata Food Cupboard will be in the parade collecting.

Help Santa Toy Parade: Saturday, November 21
This parade, which has been taking place for over forty years, is organized by the Ottawa Professional Fire Fighter’s Association. The parade starts in front of the National Archives of Canada and ends at Laurier Ave. and Elgin St. Don’t forget to bring a new unwrapped toy, which fire fighters will be collecting along with cash donations. Spectators can expect jugglers, bands, singing and dancing along the parade, which starts at 11 am.
